Are you worried that your schedule doesn't allow your child to be part of the swim team?

Great news! We have started a new program just for this situation.  The Aquatics Swim Program allows you to drop your child off for morning practice and we will keep them busy all day having fun!  Check out the program and prices and let us know as soon as possible if you're interested.

**All parents are required to volunteer for swim meets.  We ask that you volunteer for at least 3 meets per season. Jobs include Timers, Scorekeeper, Announcer, Marshals, Runners, Ribbons, Officials, Starter and Place Judges.

The Ravine Swim Team operates in the Princeton Area Swimming and Diving Association, and competes in Division III. The team is open to all who can complete a full length of the pool unassisted, and is a great way to get involved in the Ravine community.

The team focuses on learning and improving skills, Sportsmanship and having fun. The swim team meets all intensity levels of swimmers who join, ranging from beginners to experienced, year-round swimmers. Practices are divided by age, with older kids and younger kids practicing separately for an hour, back to back. Practices will be held after school until school recesses for the summer, from 4:30-5:30 (for kids 11 and up), and 5:30-6:30 (for kids under 10). Once schools are out, practices will be held in the mornings from 9-10 am for older kids, and 10-11 am for younger kids.

The family atmosphere of Ravine carries through to the swim team. Families are crucial to the operations of the swim team, and volunteers are essential to run a smooth and speedy meet. All the help that parents can provide greatly enhances the kids experiences on the team, and is greatly appreciated by the coaches, Ravine community, and PASDA representatives. Check the bulletin board by the Men's Bathroom for a sign-up to volunteer at meets. The Pre-Meet will provide an opportunity to learn about each volunteer position available at meets for families new to summer swimming. Please note that completing volunteer hours for the swim team will not count towards volunteer hours due to Ravine club.
